The certificates stating the number of employees and the total wage bill now feature a GouvCheck QR code

The certificate stating the number of employees and the certificate stating the total wage bill issued by the Social Security Centre (CCSS) for employers will include a QR code that can be used to check the authenticity of the certificate via the GouvCheck app.

The benefits of GouvCheck

  • The GouvCheck app can be installed on a smartphone or tablet.
  • Verification is simple, fast and accessible at any time without the need for an Internet connection.
  • If you have any doubts about the authenticity of a certificate, you can scan the QR code to obtain the official information directly.

Important : Verification via the GouvCheck app is used to confirm the authenticity of a certificate and not to reproduce the certificate in its entirety.

For example, if more than three years are displayed on the total wage bill, only the information from the last three years will be included in the GouvCheck QR code. As for the certificate stating the number of employees, all the information displayed will be included in the GouvCheck QR code.

What is the aim of this initiative?

As a public organisation, the CCSS is committed to offering its users increasingly secure and transparent services. The aim of this initiative is to make it possible to verify the authenticity of all certificates issued by the CCSS to users and thus protect them from possible attempts at fraud or forgery.

How can you check the authenticity of your certificates?

  • Download the GouvCheck app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
  • Open the app on your smartphone or tablet.
  • Scan the QR code of the document whose authenticity you want to check.
  • The app will tell you whether the QR code is valid, so you can check whether the details on the document match those displayed by the app.
