Reports unprocessable records in the DECMAL.dta file

The 'MALRET' file contains periods of incapacity for work, as sent by the 'DECMAL' file, with the addition of a rejection code.

1 The record type is invalid. (≠ possible values)
2 The insured's social security number is incomplete or incorrect.
3 The employer registration number is incomplete or incorrect.
4 The period is incorrect. (≠ YYYYMM)
5 The start date is incorrect. (≠ YYYYMMDD)

The end date is incorrect. (≠ YYYYMMDD)
7 The incapacity type is incorrect. (≠ possible values)
8 Contradictory start and end dates. (end date < start date)
9 Period in the future. (> current month – 1)
10 Hours declared missing or ≠ whole number or = negative number.
11 No affiliation with this employer for the reference period.
12 The insured is a civil servant and is entitled to continuation of their wage payment indefinitely, or the insured has self-employed status and another procedure must be followed.
13 There is an affiliation with this employer, but for a different period to the one indicated.
14 More than 12 hours' illness per day.
15 Limitation period exceeded (> 3 years)
16 Inconsistency between the period (field 4) and dates (field 6 and/or field 7).

 

This file is sent automatically if at least one incapacity for work record from the 'DECMAL' procedure could not be processed.

 

MALRET file specifications

  • The file is an uncompressed, ASCII-coded text file;
  • Fields are separated by a semicolon (;);
  • Each record ends with a carriage-return (0D hex) and a line-feed (0A hex).
