The 'MALRET' file contains periods of incapacity for work, as sent by the 'DECMAL' file, with the addition of a rejection code.

| 14 | More than 12 hours' illness per day. |
| 15 | Limitation period exceeded (> 3 years) |
| 16 | Inconsistency between the period (field 4) and dates (field 6 and/or field 7). |
This file is sent automatically if at least one incapacity for work record from the 'DECMAL' procedure could not be processed.
MALRET file specifications
- The file is an uncompressed, ASCII-coded text file;
- Fields are separated by a semicolon (;);
- Each record ends with a carriage-return (0D hex) and a line-feed (0A hex).
