Am I affiliated?
Each employee receives a letter certifying that they are affiliated to the Luxembourg social security system once the affiliation has been registered by the Centre commun de la sécurité sociale in respect of their professional activity. The same applies to the employer and the employer's representative or trustee.
If the employee does not receive a letter within a fortnight, he must contact his employer in order to regularise his affiliation situation.
If in doubt, insured persons can consult the affiliation with a Luxembourg health fund via myguichet.lu. In principle, this registration with a Luxembourg health fund attests to the success of your affiliation on the basis of professional activity with the new employer (except in case of exemption).
