Transferring staff from employer A to employer B may take place following a merger of 2 companies, a change of legal form, the dissolution of a company, or the rehiring of staff by an existing or new employer. In such a situation, the staff of employer A will be transferred to employer B.
- To ensure the best possible conditions for the transfer, the following instructions should be observed: before the transfer of staff can take place, employer B must have an employer registration number.
- To avoid any interruption to the employees' affiliation, it is recommended that their declaration of entry are first sent to employer B before employer A proceeds with disaffiliation by sending the employees' declaration of exit. Staff cannot be transferred retroactively.
For a transfer of more than 50 employees or if the employer or their authorised representative uses SECUline it is recommanded to contact the Social Security Centre (Centre commun de la sécurité sociale - CCSS).
