Privacy Protection Charter

This Charter contains information about the data we process when you fill in the website contact form or order a certificate, the purposes of collecting such data and the rights and remedies available to you.

Identification data

If the online service allows users to enter personal data in order to request information, submit a notice or obtain certificates (for example name, email address, identification number), the user provides these data of their own free will.

The personal data you disclose through these channels are sent to the Social Security Centre (Centre commun de la sécurité sociale - CCSS) as the data controller within the scope of its legal duties.

The data are used solely within the limits specified on collection, in order to provide you with the service or information requested and to improve service quality. They will not be stored for longer than the period permitted by law and required for this purpose. They are deleted from our servers after 2 weeks.

Right to information, access and rectification

You have the right to ask what personal data concerning you we hold at any time.

You also have a right of access to and rectification of your data.

To exercise this right, you can send a signed and dated request to the CCSS Data Protection Officer, whose offices are at 125, route d'Esch, L-2975 Luxembourg (dataprotection.ccss@secu.lu).

If there are doubts about your identity, we reserve the right to carry out the necessary checks. Following your request, we will amend your data as soon as possible, based on the information you send us.

Finally, you have the right to request the deletion of your data if this does not contradict a legal obligation to which the CCSS is subject.

Given the inherent risks with using the Internet, please ensure you do not send confidential or sensitive information via the form(s) on this website.
